MARGARET F. MYNES RAPHINE, VA Margaret Rosen (Fulwider) Mynes, 92, widow of Joe Hinkel Mynes, of 17 Red Cedar Lane, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her daughter's residence. She was born May 19, 1920, in Raphine, a daughter of the late Eugene Finley and Grace (Rosen) Fulwider. Mrs. Mynes was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church and was a lifetime member of Fairhills Garden Club. She loved knitting, painting, traveling, reading, talking to friends, and loved her family. She loved Christmas and during the Christmas season would decorate 33 Christmas trees in her home and had open house for two days for people to come in and see her decorations. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances R. Fulwider. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Walter Joe "Bucky" and Deborah Mynes of Raphine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky M. and the Rev. Merle Dodson of Staunton and Claudie M. and Donald Kyger of Raphine; five grandchildren, Karen Dodson, Joe Kyger, Carrie Hite, Heather Glymph, and Andrew Mynes; and eleven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Keith Cornfield. The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012, at her residence. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, P.O.
