Marie Elizabeth Beck

Marie McClure Beck   Marie Elizabeth McClure Beck of Staunton, VA, died on April 16, 2018.  She was born May 26, 1928, in Greenville, VA, daughter of the late Robert Vance and Elizabeth Thomas McClure.  She was a graduate of Mary Baldwin College, a member of First Presbyterian Church, and retired from employment at Western State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Beck, on November 10, 1992, and her brother, Thomas Vance McClure, on January 23, 1992. She is survived by three nieces, Ann McClure Ainsley of Santa Barbara, CA, Sara McClure McCoy of Charlottesville, and Jane McClure Booth of Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be conducted by The Reverend Karen H. Allamon on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.     Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church (100 East Frederick Street, Staunton, VA 24401) or to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah (PO Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939).
