Marie "Penny" (Duff) Taliaferro

MARIE D. TALIAFERRO FISHERSVILLE, VA Marie "Penny" (Duff) Taliaferro, 85, widow of Harry I. Taliaferro, of Grubert Avenue, died on Tuesday, September 08, 2015, at Augusta Health. She was born November 2, 1929 in Rockbridge County to William and Edna (Dempsey) Duff. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Family includes her son and daughter-in-law, Conley O. and Gail Taliaferro of Mt. Sidney; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah T. Anderson and Patricia T. and William Scott; three grandchildren, Kimberley, Karima, and Chris; great granddaughter, Adren; great grandson, Parker; and special friend, Lucille Anderson; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon on Friday (September 11, 2015) in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
