Martha Ann Armstrong

MARTHA “ANN” CLARK ARMSTRONG RAPHINE, VA Martha Ann (Clark) Armstrong, 75, of Raphine Virginia, known to most as “Ann”, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at her home in Raphine Virginia.  She spent her last few hours surrounded by loved ones. Ann was born on August 14, 1942 in Rockbridge County Virginia, a daughter of the late Alonzo Jackson Clark and Daisy Ellen Carter Clark. Surviving are son, David Lee Armstrong of Nashville TN, her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Precious Hope Armstrong of Deerfield VA and Travis Alan Armstrong of Middlebrook, VA, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Bobbie Clark of Greenville; Leroy and Donna Riley Clark of Mint Spring; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Styles of North Carolina; Faye and Pete Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Lee Armstrong, who recently passed on March 14th of this year, sisters Evelyn Viola Clark of Mint Spring and Ruth Alean Clark Martin of Deerfield. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Paula Price for her years of service, and the Gwin Berry family, for being long standing friends of Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong. At Mrs. Armstrong’s request, there will not be a formal service or burial.  Henry Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
