Marvin Henry Schuhmann

Marvin Henry Schuhmann, 81, widower of Betty Jean (Rexrode) Schuhmann, of Mt. Sidney, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Augusta Health.  He was born March 28, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Henry and Wilhelmina (Blaue) Schuhmann.  Mr. Schuhmann was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Forest Service as an assistant ranger. Marvin was a member of Parkway Wesleyan Church.  Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kelly Schuhmann; a brother, Donald Schuhmann of St. Louis, MO; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Richard Gotsch of Martinsburg, MO and Kathy and Bob Anderson of Sullivan, MO;  a granddaughter, Olivia Schuhmann; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Holland. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Parkway Wesleyan Church by Pastor Barry Lawson. Inurnment will be in Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale, WV.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkway Wesleyan Missions, 1987 Springhill Road, Staunton, VA 24401. There will be a reception following the service at the church.
