MARY JANE CAMDEN-MOORE STAUNTON, VA Mary Jane Camden-Moore, 78, wife of Melvin Lee Moore passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her residence. She was born February 11, 1936 in Rockbridge County a daughter of the late Graham and Florence (Clark) Hostetter. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Moore was employed by Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. She also worked at McQuay/Westinghouse and was former owner of a gas station and a truck driver for 10 years with Whitten Transfer. In addition to her husband, family members include two daughters, Tami Camden of Middlebrook and Toni Rollason, and her husband, Scott King, of North Carolina; a son, Terry Camden of Northern Virginia; two step-daughters, Melvia Moore of Florida and Donna Davis of Georgia; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rheta and Jimmy Slough of Mt. Solon, Ruby and Roy Berg of Ft. Defiance, and Claire and Gorman Lilley of Richmond; four grandchildren, Stacey Diefenderfer and husband, Brian of Charlottesville, Brian Reubush of Harrisonburg, Edward Rollason at home, and Charles Rollason of Florida; and five great grandchildren, Samuel Reubush, Blake Reubush, Lukus Reubush, Ian Diefenderfer, and Eric Diefenderfer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Camden and a nephew, Larry Slough. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. George Etling. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Ronny Moore, Harry Moore, Brian Diefenderfer, Joe Simmons, Randy McGill and Forrest Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be Glenn Moore. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in the funeral home and following the service at the home. Memorials may be made to Meals-On-Wheels, Staunton Senior Center, Gypsy Hill Place, 300 Churchville Ave, Staunton, VA 24401. The family also wished to thank the nursing staff of Medi Hospice of Charlottesville for the support and loving care they provided to Mary.
