Mary Moore (Cash) Hart

STAUNTON, VA… Mary Moore (Cash) Hart, 76, widow of William L. Hart, of Staunton, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Augusta Health. She was born June 14, 1939 in Vesuvius, a daughter of the late Homer and Nora (Bartley) Cash. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Family members include two sons, Gregory Hart of Staunton and Gary Hart and wife, Laura, of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Martha Newcomer of Lexington, Lillian Heatwole of Woodbridge, and Aileen Cash of Staunton; and three grandchildren, William C. Hart of Staunton, Daniel Hart and Natalie Hart, both of Virginia Beach. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie, Albert, Thurman, and Hansford Cash and three sisters, Ollie Garza, Della Holaway, and Annie Phillips. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John Peterson.  Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rockbridge Baths. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
