Mary Glenn Fitzgerald

VERONA, VA Mary Frances (Glenn) Fitzgerald, 78, wife of Donald E. Fitzgerald, of Verona, passed away Saturday, November 07, 2015 at Augusta Health. She was born February 7, 1937, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Christian Lee and Blanche (Allen) Glenn. Mary was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to her children, family and husband of 31 years. She retired from Belk after 30 years of service and she attended Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church and Shenandoah Baptist Church in Verona. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Edgar Lee Houff of Richmond; a daughter, Lisa Houff Hall of Ona, WV; a stepson, Jeffery Fitzgerald of Staunton; a stepdaughter, Donna J. Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft; nine grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Howdyshell of Fishersville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Glenn. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Don Mallory. Burial will follow in Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Henry Funeral Home on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
