STAUNTON, VA Mary Louvinna Hevener, 82, of Plaza Drive, died Friday April 25, 2014, at Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Red Hill, the daughter of the late Charles Berlin and Erma (Lambert) Hevener. Prior to her retirement, Miss Hevener was employed by Genesco as a seamstress. She is survived by a brother, Charles B. Hevener and a sister, Betty H. Gum, both of Staunton; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Miss Hevener was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Hevener; and two sisters, Ruby Hevener and Mozelle Stone. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Barry Creasy. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Danny and Timmy Hevener, Harvey Eckard, Joe Manders, Harvey Hevener and Brent Wood. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service in the funeral home.
