Mary C. Joyce

STAUNTON, VA…              Mary Belle (Cason) Joyce, 87, wife of Charles L. Joyce of Staunton, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence.              She was born on June 18, 1928 in Middlebrook, Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Miller) Cason.              Mrs. Joyce was a member of Linden Heights Baptist Church and retired from Genesco after 45 years.              In addition to her husband, family members include two sons, Gary W. Hoover of Stuarts Draft, Donald R. Hoover of Chester; a daughter, Betty H. Rexrode of Staunton; nine stepchildren; a brother, Charles Cason, Jr. of Arizona; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren.              In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, a brother, and a son-in-law.              A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Luke Smith.              Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, 111 North Campus Lane, Fishersville, VA 22939.
