Mary Alice Lunsford

MARY A. LUNSFORD STUARTS DRAFT, VA Mary Alice (Robertson) Lunsford, 80, wife of Beryl G. Lunsford, of 98 West High Street, Stuarts Draft, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Augusta Health. She was born March 30, 1934, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Raymond Robertson and Reba (Kitchens) Mattison. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and also enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Robertson. In addition to her husband of 62 years, family members include two daughters Cimberly L. Hendrickson of Charlottesville; Shelly Maupin and husband Kevin of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Johnny Robertson of Macon, GA; three grandchildren Joshua M. Cason and wife Brandy of Charlottesville; Brittany Williams and husband Brandon of Staunton and Hannah Huffer of Stuarts Draft; one great granddaughter, Aiyanna Cason. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Old Providence ARP Church in Spottswood by the Rev. H. Max Bolin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Arehart, Bob Day, Finley Lotts, Joe Fauber, Glenn Hanger and Bobby Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of the church.
