Mary Pearl Myers

MARY M. MYERS FISHERSVILLE, VA Mary Pearl (McCauley) Myers, 83, widow of Earl S. Myers, of 83 Crossroads Lane, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born November 12, 1930, in Richmond, a daughter of the late Elmer Lacy and Annis (Jordan) McCauley. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Myers was employed by Western State Hospital with 25 years of service. She was a member of Southside Church of God. Family members include two sons, David Herald McDaniel of Staunton and Michael Sherman Myers and wife, Sheila, of Staunton; a daughter, Dorothy Marie Parrish and husband, David, of Stuarts Draft; twelve grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Lacy McDaniel and a half-sister, Sophie Loyd. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Pastor Phillip Morgan. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home.
