MARY B. POWERS STAUNTON, VA… Mary Christine (Tuma) Baker Powers, 80, widow of Ronald L. Powers, of Essex Drive, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by her loving children. She was born September 7, 1936 in Chesterfield. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Powers was employed by Augusta Co-Op Farm Buearu. Family members include three children, Danny Baker and wife, Susan, Robin Wilson and husband, Jerry, and Christie Piner and husband, Keith; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Larry Strickler. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tina Crawford and Sherrie Mohler.
