MARY W. SNYDER   STAUNTON, VA… Mary Catherine (Warren) Snyder, 87, widow of Roy Lee Snyder, of Staunton, went to meet her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her residence, 317 Churchville Avenue, Staunton.   She was born February 10, 1931 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Russell H. and Kate B. (Shifflett) Warren. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the American Safety Razor Company as a quality assurance inspector with 41 years of service. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Family members include three daughters, Patsy J. Snyder, Kitty J. Snyder, and Jenne K. Moran all of Staunton; a brother, Russell H. Warren, Jr. of Staunton; 10 grandchildren, Lindsay Rae Snyder, Aaron Lee Snyder, Megan Brooke Snyder, Zachary Scott Snyder, Amber Nicole Jackson, Chancellor Orion Moran, Mia Love Moran, Emily L. Gable, Dean Meadows, and Dustin Meadows; and seven great grandchildren, Tristan, Braedyn, Kennedy, LaRayiah, Hailey, Nora, and Mercey.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Guy A. Shifflett. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Golden Clark. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Tim Moran, Sam Wilson, Danny Hevener, Joshua Walker, Patrick Jackson, James Rankin, Alan McCauley, and Adam Rose. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the funeral home.
