MARY B. WERKHEISER STAUNTON, VA Mary Rose (Baviello) Werkheiser, 85, widow of Homer Werkheiser of 512 Houston Street, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Envoy of Staunton. She was born July 12, 1926, in Dobbs Ferry, NY, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Florence (Raffa) Baviello. Mary lived most of her life in Dobbs Ferry, then moved to Arizona for a brief period before moving to Ardsley, NY, then to Crimora, VA. Mrs. Werkheiser was a member of Crimora Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed helping the members when they had rummage sales or other activities at the church. She was a sponsor for the American Veterans Disabled for Life. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, being with her family, and reading her Bible. Family members include a daughter, Kathleen Pelletier and her fiance', Gary; two nieces, Deborah Maher and her husband, Stephen and Cheryl Brill and her husband, Robert; and a nephew, Ronnie Beviello. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 noon Monday, July 9, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home.
