Maybelle Wittman Combs

MAYBELLE W. COMBS VERONA, VA Maybelle Ida (Wittman) Combs, 83, widow of Gilbert C. Combs, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 21, 1929, in Rockaway beach, N.Y., a daughter of the late Emil Phillip and Maybelle Lillian (Rapp) Wittman. In addition to her husband Gilbert C. Combs, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Combs. Family members include a son, Russell Combs; a daughter, Laura Jean; and a granddaughter, Tiffany. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Jamie McClanahan. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
