Mickey Ellen Harris

STAUNTON, VA. Mildred Ellen "Mickey" (Daugherty) Harris, 79, wife of Daniel F. Harris, of Staunton, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Augusta Health. She was born on December 17, 1933 in Staunton, the daughter of the late Forrest LeRoy and Stella Rosetta (Thomas) Daugherty. In addition to her husband of 59 years, family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlee and Daniel Ramsey of Richmond; and a granddaughter, Allison Grace Ramsey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Daugherty; and a sister, Bessie Lee Shuey. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. JoAnn Bunn. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
