Mildred Elizabeth Fix

Mildred Elizabeth (Fauber) Fix, 86, widow of Kenneth Thomas Fix of Staunton, died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Emeritus Assisted Living, Staunton. She was born February 26, 1926, a daughter of the late Herbert and Mamie (Campbell) Fauber. Mrs. Fix retired from ASR after 32 years of service. She was a member of Stuarts Draft Baptist Church and Gypsy Hill AARP #7239. Family members include a son, Wayne Thomas Fix and a granddaughter, Betty Elizabeth and her husband Todd Edwards; great, great granddaughters, Kalie and husband Lucas Rexrode, Victoria and Cory Ramsey; great, great, great grandson Camden Christian Ramsey; a special niece, Nancy Brown; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Walter Fauber, and two sisters, Hazel F. Campbell, and Charlene F. Campbell. Mrs. Fix was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Steels Tavern conducted by Rev. Dr. William Kopp and Rev. Judson Baldwin. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in the Henry Funeral Home.
