MILDRED M. FAUVER STAUNTON, VA…Mildred Manning Fauver, 90, widow of Richard Clemmer Fauver, died Thursday, February 15, 2018, at The Legacy at North Augusta. She was born March 17, 1927, in Hazard, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edward E. and Edith (Hickman) Manning. She was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and was an avid supporter of the Food Pantry. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis F. Paul; a brother, James Manning; and four sisters, Brenda Askren, Lorraine Eversole, Betty Hibbard, and Imogene Wooten. Family includes sons, Burnett C. (Cathy) Fauver and Richard B. (Marion) Fauver; brother and in-laws, Kenneth Manning, Jean Manning, Gary Askren, and Ronald Hibbard, all of Ohio; grandchildren, Celeste (Josh) Ziegler, and Eric (Tera), Ryan (Nicole), Nicole, and Preston Fauver; and great grandchildren, Zoey and Avery Ziegler, and Alayna Fauver. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert Sharp. Burial will be private. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Ryan, Eric, and Preston; and also Josh Ziegler, and JR Rohrbaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be her longtime friends.
