CROOKSHANKSVERONA,VA...Misty Dawn Crookshanks, 40, the eldest of three siblings, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday morning, January 24, 2016.A daughter of Douglas H. and Christie A. Crookshanks of Verona and Mark S. Kinder of Poca, WV.She was born August 13, 1975 in Fort Hood, TX. She was a 1993 graduate of Fort Defiance High School and a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents, Clay W. (Bill) and Ruby I. Peters (Maternal) and Fred H. and Lucille (Lucy) E. Crookshanks (Paternal).Survivors include a very special and loving daughter Kali Dawn Johnson; her devoted parents, Douglas and Christie Crookshanks and Mark Kinder, two brothers Shawn H. Crookshanks of Grottoes and Chad W. and his wife, Jennifer L.
