Mary Frances Halterman

Mary Frances (Carroll) Halterman, 77, wife of Forrest Halterman, Jr., of Staunton died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at her residence.

She was born September 21, 1943, in Prince George County, a daughter of the late William Edward and Christine Violet Carroll.

She was employed by Manpower.

In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Tony Halterman; three daughters, Kimberly Halterman, Christine Halterman, and Pamela Halterman; a brother, Johnny Carroll of Vermont; two sisters, Catherine Nuckoles of Las Vegas and Sarah Carroll, of Staunton; five grandchildren, Tiffany Key, Shana Halterman, Ricco Jenkins, Heather Halterman, and Lester Stewart; and nine great grandchildren, Savannah Allen, Piper Allen, Lucas Stewart, Jaxen Stewart, Uriah Key, Elijah Key, Taijon Key, Aalaesha Carter, and Mason Lambert.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Clay Sterrett.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home.
