Nancy Jane Curry

NANCY G. CURRY STAUNTON, VA Nancy Jane (Geist) Lam Curry, 72, widow of John Curry, of 2715 Knollwood Drive, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, in Augusta Health. She was born February 14, 1942, in Rockingham County, a daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Opple) Geist. Family members include three daughters, Donna Curry, with whom she lived in Staunton, Juanita Dove of Harrisonburg, and Wendy Munro of Roanoke; a son, Allen Curry of New Market; two sisters, Phyllis Philipon and Kay Cornelius, both of Philadelphia, PA; a granddaughter, Katilyn Curry, whom she helped raise; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, G.B. Lam; a brother, Dick Geist; and a sister, Shirley Winthrop. There will be no public viewing or services. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
