NANCY B. SCHOENTHALER STAUNTON, VA Nancy Lee (Brinkley) Schoenthaler, 79, wife of William Schoenthaler of Staunton, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in King's Daughter's Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on April 22, 1933, in Bath County, to the late Cletis W. and Lettie (Stinespring) Brinkley. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. In addition to her loving husband, family members include a son and a daughter-in-law, Rick and Suzanne Schoenthaler of AbuDhabi-UAE; two daughters, June Marie Schoenthaler of Harrisburg, PA and Susan Anne Schoenthaler of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, Blair and Linda Brinkley of Puyallup, WA; two sisters, Agnes Pursley of Warm Springs and Shirley Wiseman of Staunton; three grandchildren Laila, Omar, and Rami Schoenthaler; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Bethany Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Les LaPrade. The burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the men of the Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church at 2501 Fifth Street, Staunton, VA 24401. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
