Naomi Rowe Neff

NAOMI R. NEFF FISHERSVILLE, VA Naomi Rowe Neff, 89, widow of Thomas B. Neff, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at New Life in Staunton, VA. Preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas B. Neff, an infant son, Thomas, her parents Floretta and Franklin O. Rowe and three sisters: Eunice Wade, Vivian Parrish and Glenna Obaugh, and four brothers: Robert C., Kenneth, Lester and Jimmy Rowe. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda K. Neff of Staunton and Thomas D. Neff and his wife, Jane of Boonsboro, Md. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Bryan T. Wright, Jessica Wright-Herr and her husband, Ron, of Staunton and Bradley F. Wright of Fredericksburg, VA. Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren: Anisha B. Wright, of Staunton, Aislinn M. Wright of Stuarts Draft, and Cody and Tyler Commisford and Hadley Herr of Staunton, and two sisters, Joyce Ann Dickerson and Maxine Robinson. Naomi retired from Terry Court Drugs where she worked for many years. She was presented with a life-time membership in the women of the Church at Covenant Presbyterian Church. She loved to paint and was an accomplished artist, giving her paintings to friends and neighbors. She was a member of The Blue Triangle club and served as president for many terms. She was also a member of the Red Hats and the Golden Goofers. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
