CRAIGSVILLE, VA… Nebraska Nicole “Nikki” Mitchell, 20, of Craigsville, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born May 11, 1997, in Fishersville, a daughter of Kenneth W. Johnson and Deborah A. Mitchell. Nikki was employed by Public Partnerships. She was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Batman. She was very outgoing and fun loving. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Briella Rose Colvin and paternal grandfather, Rodney Johnson. In addition to her parents, family members include her maternal grandparents, Manley and Mary Mitchell; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson; fiancé, Dylan S. Colvin; three sisters, Sierra Watson, Kianna Johnson, and Angel Johnson; a brother, Teddy Johnson; a niece, Aariel Rae Johnson; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 11a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Edward Scott Sturdivant. Active pallbearers will be Rodney Johnson, Joshua Sturdivant, Dylan Colvin, Robert Smith Jose Najarro, and Kenneth Campbell.
