Nina Mae Hearn

NINA A. HEARN STAUNTON, VA… Nina Mae Allen “Penny” Hearn, 90, widow of Walter Hearn, Jr., of 28 Hearns Drive, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at King’s Daughters’ Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 19, 1927 in Montebello, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Demastus) Allen. She was a member of White Hill Church of the Brethren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Allen; two sisters, Eldarine Allen Seaman and Elsie Allen Leibert; and a grandchild, David Hearn. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Beverly Hearn and Ronald and Bunny Hearn, both of Staunton; two brothers, James and Harry Allen, both of Waynesboro; and four grandchildren, Elisa Hearn Shelton and husband, Tim, Sherri Hearn Yowell and husband, Luke, Robert “Robbie” Hearn, and Rebekah “Page” Hearn; and four great grandchildren, Aiden Hearn, Jacob Lee Yowell, Haven Lynn Yowell, and William David Shelton. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 in Augusta Memorial Park by Jimmy Hearn. There will be no public viewing.Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
