NORINE L. WOOD STAUNTON, VA Norine Lucille (Moyer) Wood, 98, widow of Taylor I. Wood, of 24 Misty Dawn Lane, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, at her residence. She was born November 8, 1912, in Mount Solon, a daughter of the late Delmer Lee Moyer and Hattie Viola (Back) Moyer Hoy. Mrs. Wood was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Marshall Louis Wood, three brothers, and two sisters. Family members include two granddaughters, Karen Wood Fultz and Judi Mooneyham and her husband, Tommy of Staunton; and three great grandsons, Douglas, Dustin, and Tyler Whitmore. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Frank Wyche. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her great grandsons and Vince Wood, Bob Hoy, Phil Carpenter, Tommy Mooneyham, and Darrell Dixon.
