Nancy Howarth Gordon

STUARTS DRAFT, VA… Nancy Howarth Gordon, 83, of Stuarts Draft, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Augusta Health. She was born December 17, 1932 in Richmond, a daughter of the late Howard Henley and Ethel (Hindle) Gordon. Prior to retirement, she was head of the Home Economics Department at VSDB.   Nancy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Family members include a brother and sister-in-law, James D. and Bobbie Gordon of Alabama; two nephews, James D. Gordon, Jr. and Joseph H. Gordon; a niece, Julie E. Gordon; and special friends, Sue and Bobby Wenger and Ginny White. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Christ United Methodist Church by the Rev. Sarah Locke.  Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Richmond, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
