Patsy D. Clem

Staunton, VA… Patsy (Ann) Doome Clem, 79, wife of Sam H. Clem, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. She was born on November 22, 1939 in Staunton, to Fay (Samples) Doome and the late Delmer Reese Doome. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. Patsy retired as a comptroller from Community Bank. In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by her mother, Fay and brother, Denis, presently in Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Catty Clem; a daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Bob Huffer; and six grandchildren: Andy Clem, Reese Huffer, Ruth Clem, Allie Huffer, Grace Clem, and Joseph Clem. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Henry Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018  at First Presbyterian Church in Staunton by the Rev. Karen Allamon. Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.
