Phyllis Virginia (Johnson) Wimer

PHYLLIS J. WIMER FISHERSVILLE, VA Phyllis Virginia (Johnson) Wimer, 82, widow of Clem Wesley Wimer, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Shenandoah Nursing Home. She was born August 10, 1932, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late William Dewitt and Lorena May (Elyard) Johnson. She was a member of Middle River Church of the Brethren. Family members include four sisters, Carolyn Riley of Fishersville, Maxine Powers of Richmond, Ruby Scott of Lewsville, NC, and Faye Vandevender of Edgewater, MD; a grandson, Dennis James Wimer, II; a great grandson, Dennis J. Wimer, III; a niece, Lorie Back; and a special nephew, Jerry Johnson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Wayne Wimer and Dennis J. Wimer; a brother, William D.
