POLLY B. SHARP STAUNTON, VA Polly Ann (Buchanan) Sharp, 80, of 6 East Gay Street, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on February 9, 1932 to the late Kenneth F. and Anna Buchanan. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Cindy Sharp of Staunton; former husband, Eugene Franklin Sharp; a sister, Betty Sprouse of Waynesboro; a God Son, Michael Walker; two grandchildren, David Franklin Sharp, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Mae Sharp and Melissa Ann (Sharp) Foster and her husband, Peter James Foster; and five great grandchildren, Bo Franklin Sharp, Skyler James Foster, Kayden Elizabeth Foster, Collin James Sharp, and Emma Mae Sharp. A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Pastor from Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Her wish was to be placed beside her mother. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, in the funeral home.
