Paula J. Scott, 72, wife of Paul W. Scott, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on September 5, 1949 in Washington, DC to the late Paul and Mary Ellen (Chandler) Farkas.

Mrs. Scott attended Memorial Baptist Church. She retired in 2005 as Senior Sales Representative for Pitney Bowes. For many years, she owned and operated The Clothes Horse in downtown Staunton.

She belonged to a very special group of women in Yorktown, the Women of Faith whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband of nearly 26 years, she is survived by a daughter, Laura S. Back; two grandchildren, Naomi Back and her fiancé, Eric Harvey of Charlotte, NC and Hunter Back of Langley AFB, Hampton, Nicki DiMeo of Staunton and Amber Glyshaw of New York; a great granddaughter, Jada and many cousins, including two very special ones, Connie Pardee and husband Rob and J.W. Chandler and Rachel Branham.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Paulette Baker.

A service will be conducted in the mausoleum at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Oak Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Mark Jones and Pastor Todd Latham.

Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at Third Presbyterian Church, 1313 Barterbrook Road, Staunton, VA, 24401.
