Peggy Deloras (Whitehurst) Breeden, 77, of Staunton, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at her residence.
She was born August 6, 1943 in Norfolk, a daughter of the late Leroy W. and Jamie (Goza) Whitehurst.
Prior to retirement, Peggy was a certified nursing assistant who loved to take care of people.
Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathryn L. and Tony McMillan and Lee Ann Breeden, all of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Lee and Carol Whitehurst of Mississippi; a grandson, Derek Clifton and wife, Sabrina; and a great grandson, Liam Clifton.
She was preceded in death by her life partner, Ben W. Goodwin and a brother, Rusty Whitehurst.
There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
