Peggy Jean (Beachum) Solt, 74, widow of George Edward Solt, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Augusta Health.
Peggy was born on December 7, 1947 in Hampton, VA to the late Maurice Reeves Beachum and Gertrude Elizabeth (Cunningham) Beachum.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Solt (Niki) of Ruckersville and Justin Solt (Jana) of Richmond; her daughters, Angela Wilson of Staunton and Ashleigh Solt (Josh Angus) of Crimora; her brother, Maurice Reeves Beachum, Jr.; her sister, Ruth Ann Beachum McGee; and her grandchildren, Brianna, Ally, Rowan, Gavin, Aidan, and Barrett.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Jesse Moffett. Entombment will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
