WAYNESBORO, VA… Phyllis Fultz Sensabaugh, 87, resident of Summit Square in Waynesboro, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was born on December 26, 1929, in Mt. Sidney, daughter of Carl Franklin Fultz and Lee Alice (Cook) Fultz. She was a graduate of Mt. Sidney High School. After high school, she was employed by DuPont Company in Waynesboro and retired from Planters Bank and Trust Company in Staunton after twenty-three years. Phyllis was an active member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church serving on various committees. She enjoyed cooking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandsons. She is survived by a son, H. Fulton Sensabaugh, Jr. and wife, Ann; a daughter, Kimberly S. Schultz and husband, Donald; grandsons, Dwight Howard Schultz and Louis McClellan Schultz; sisters, Nancy F. Dunsmore and Betty F. Myers; sister in law, Thelma (Sensabaugh) Varner; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by her husband, Howard Fulton Sensabaugh; brothers, Franklin L. Fultz, George W. Fultz, and Bobby C. Fultz; and sisters, Virginia F. Folds, Antha F. Rhodecap, and Evelyn F. Thomas. Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Wachspress, Dr. Christopher Heck, entire staff at Summit Square, and the wonderful care givers she had over the years. A graveside service and burial will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Pastors, Lance Braun and Kenneth Price.
