Ralph Rhodes Harmon

RALPH R. HARMON STAUNTON, VA Ralph Rhodes Harmon, husband of Donna June (Fore) Harmon, of 460 Mt. View Drive, died Monday, February18, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Walter C. and Inez (Thomas) Harmon. Mr. Harmon served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Prior to retirement, he was a controller for Smiths Transfer and after retirement he worked part time as an accountant for the Valley Alcohol Safety Action Program. In addition to his wife, family members include two sons, Thomas A. Harmon and his wife, Linda, of California, Maryland and Terrence C. Harmon of Winston Salem, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Ty A., Lauren A., and Michael C. Harmon; and special family friends, Dana D. Biby and Gail B. Harmon; in addition, he leaves behind his beloved Jack Russell Terrier, "Chris". A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 by Rev. Joe Brandon in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.henryfuneralhome.net .
