Rebecca LaClair Sutton, age 71, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Calvert and Lillian LaClair Searson. She is also preceded in death by her first husband; James W. Brolia, Jr. Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband of 20 years; Gerry Sutton of Murfreesboro, daughters; Marcella (Dale) Showalter of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cindy Lawhorne of Jacksonville, FL., stepson; Scott Sutton of New Hope, VA., stepdaughter; Tonya (Ken) Cleveland of Verona, VA., grandchildren; Jessica Showalter, Jake Showalter, Cody Lawhorne, Dylan Sutton and his wife Angela, Tori Cleveland and Kristopher Cleveland. She is also survived by her two brothers; Jerry LaClair of Murfreesboro, Mike LaClair of West Virginia, and numerous other family members. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 by Pastor Kenneth W. Massey at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Virginia. In lieu flowers, the Sutton family request that memorials be made to the Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund or to The American Cancer Society.
