RICHARD D. SENSABAUGH STAUNTON, VA… Richard Dennis Sensabaugh, 68, husband of Debra (Vance) Sensabaugh, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in Sentara RMH. Mr. Sensabaugh was born on May 9, 1948, a son of Ruth (Newcomer) Sensabaugh and the late Charles C. Sensabaugh. He was a machinist at IMW Industrial Machine Works. Richard was a UVA fan, enjoyed playing softball and woodworking, an avid fisherman and Beach Boys fan and accomplished the rank of Eagle Scout. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Joshua Sensabaugh and Heather Vassar of Lyndhurst; two daughters, Deanna Tutwiler of Staunton and Ann and Ben Lowry of Crimora; a brother, Douglas and Julia Sensabaugh of Mt. Sidney; two step-sons, T. W. and Nikki Dolin of Waynesboro and Kelly and Paula Dolin also of Waynesboro; thirteen grandchildren, Braeden Tutwiler, Landen Tutwiler, Matthew Sensabaugh, Brett Cook, Destiny Dolin, Dakota Dolin, Tyler Dolin, Haleigh Lowry, Addy Dolin, Aralynn Dolin, Kylie Norman and Trevor Norman; and his beloved border collie, Leland and Lab, Theo. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a son, Matthew Sensabaugh and a brother, Lewis Sensabaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Hart, Mike Reed, Ray Johnson, Jeremy Sloat, Chad Luck, Jerry Lambert and Dennis Garber. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home and also at the residence after the service. Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes, 1356 S.
