ROBERT J. LINK HOT SPRINGS, VA Robert "Red" Junior Link, 87, widower of Mary Dell (Cash) Link, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at The Springs, Hot Springs. He was born on September 3, 1925, in Rockbridge, a son of the late Bertha Thelma Link. Mr. Link served in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 37 years of service as a mechanic at DuPont. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Mint Spring United Methodist Church. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Karen Link and Dennis and Karen Link; two daughters-in-law, Betty Link and Sara Link; eight grandchildren, Ryan and (Tonna) Miller, Angie and (Cameron) Jordan, Kristy, Troy, and Scott Link, Michael and (Brooke) Link, Keith and (Heather) Link, and Kevin and (Danielle) Link; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Link and Glenn Link and a brother, John Link. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Henry Funeral Home and at any time at the home of Dennis Link, 2692 Lee Jackson Highway, Staunton.
