Rodney Burton Perry

RODNEY B. PERRY  STAUNTON, VA… Rodney Burton Perry, 52, husband of Jennifer Wilk Perry, of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017. He was born December 5, 1964, in Staunton, a son of Donald Burton and Jo (Marcum) Perry. Rodney was employed by AccuTec Blades with 23 years of service.  He attended Mint Spring United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping at their second home at Smith Mountain Lake. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include a brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Fonda Perry of Stuarts Draft; three nephews, Jason, Justin, and Jayden Perry; special friends, Sharon Deacon and Lois Hartman; and special golden retriever, Ginger. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ryan Oswald and Rodney’s cousin, Phillip Brown. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Regional S.P.C.A, P.O.
