ROSEMARY C. SHEETS STAUNTON, VA. Due to the inclement weather, services for Mrs. Rosemary C. Sheets have been rescheduled. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday March 4, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Staunton Seventh Day Adventist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Price and the Rev. Dr. Bob Kolodner. Burial will follow in Salem Lutheran Church. Rosemary (Collins) Sheets, 62, wife of James Elwood Sheets of 323 College Circle, died Thursday, February 27, 2014, at her residence. She was born November 20, 1951, in Saltville, a daughter of the late George Bradley and June (Roberts) Collins. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Augusta Health in the ER as a Clerical Specialist. She was also employed by Augusta County Schools as a reading resource aide. She served as choir director for 35 years in various churches in Augusta County and Smyth County. Before moving to Staunton in 1981, she worked in advertisement for Wytheville Enterprise Newspaper and The Saltville Progress. In addition to her husband, family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary and David King and Beth Sheets and companion, Sabrina St. Clair, all of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Donna Collins of Saltville; a sister, Linda Smith of Florida; a sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Dottie and Charles Hall and Rev. John Derrick, all of Harrisonburg; her step-mother, Vivian Collins Boardwine; and four nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Walter A. Figgatt and a sister-in-law, Lois Figgatt-Derrick. Active pallbearers will be John H. Craig, III, Joe Crabtree, Hunter Fauber, Lacy King, Jr., C.W. Stephenson, Warren Wise, Brett Chafin, and Frank Smith. Memorials may be made to the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad, 1601 North Coalter Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
