Ruby Wiseman Bartley

RUBY W. BARTLEY STAUNTON, VA Ruby Wiseman Bartley, 85, of Staunton, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014, in the Hospice House of the Piedmont, Charlottesville. She was born April 29, 1929, in Middlebrook, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Alberta (Rankin) Wiseman. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Staunton Manor and DuPont. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Family members include a son, Roger Bartley; three daughters, Betty Shields, Freda Melvin, and Thea Joy Adkins; a sister, Helen Huffman; grandchildren, Dakota Craig and Lauren Adkins; a great granddaughter, "Sage Riley Gardner"; and a special friend, Debbie Hagen. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, in Augusta Memorial Park by Chaplain Heena Reiter. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
