Ruby Virginia Ott

RUBY L. OTTS FREDERICKSBURG, VA Ruby Virginia (Lotts) Ott, 93, widow of David J. "D.J." Ott, Jr., died Monday, July 4, 2011, at the Greenfield Assisted Living residence in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born February 23, 1918, in Raphine a daughter of the late Erskine and Venie (Wiseman) Lotts. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Ott was employed by the West Virginia University Hospital. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in Staunton, VA. In addition to her husband, who preceded her in death on May 22, 1999, she was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Family members include a daughter, Betty Trigger and her husband, Tom, of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Anna Ott and her companion, Frank Cataldi, of Stafford; a sister, Iva Myrtle and her husband, Marvin, of Spottswood; a grandson, Jeffrey Trigger of Fredericksburg; a granddaughter, Laura Driskell and her husband, Bryan, of King George; and one great granddaughter, Madisyn Driskell. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, in the Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery in Spottswood, VA by the Rev. Harry Johns.
