RUSSELL L. FLINT, SR. STAUNTON, VA Russell Linwood Flint, Sr., 84, widower of Mary Ellen (Balser) Flint, formerly of 437 Albemarle Ave., went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2013. He was born October 6, 1929, in Augusta Springs, a son of the late Robert and Mamie (Miller) Flint. He was a member of Miller Memorial Baptist Church, Augusta Springs. Surviving family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Russell Jr. "Bo" and Mary (Mabie) Flint; and two grandsons, Luke and Matthew Flint of Staunton. Russell is also survived by a very dear friend, David Clark, and a special cousin, Harold Harlow. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, December 5 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Miller Memorial Baptist Church, P.O. Box 23, Augusta Springs, VA 24411, or to a charity of your choice.
