Russell Silas Palmer

STAUNTON, VA Russell Silas Palmer, 58, passed on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his residence. He was born on May 3, 1955, in Staunton, the son of Russell Franklin Palmer and Frances Palmer Knight. He worked in construction as a dry wall installer. In addition to his parents he is survived by five children, Anda Claytor of Phoenix, AZ, Russell Palmer, Crystal Ann Shifflett, April Elaine Palmer, Matthew Monroe Palmer; seven granddaughters, Kristen, Gabby, Ciara, Kallie, Montana, Fallon and Serenity; one grandson, Weston; a brother, Jim Knight; a sister, Debbie Knight; and friends and caregivers, Maxine Higgins and Robin Korker. Services will be private.
