Ruth W. Nuckoles

Ruth Elda (Wade) Nuckoles, 85, widow of Houston M. “Shorty” Nuckoles, of 2412 Chesapeake Street died Sunday, August 14, 2016 in Augusta Health. She was born on December 6, 1930 in Highland County, a daughter of the late Cecil A. and Edna (Samples) Wade. Mrs. Nuckoles was employed for a number of years by Tommies, Inc. Surviving family members include a daughter, Susan D. Nuckoles; a son, Wayne L. Nuckoles; two grandchildren, Justin E. Nuckoles and Trevor A. Nuckoles. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Botkin. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Augusta Memorial Park by Rev. Dr. Tully J. Hunter. Those desiring may call at Henry Funeral Home at any time.
