Ruth Wilhelmina Reubush

RUTH T. REUBUSH STAUNTON, VA Ruth Trent Reubush, 94, widow of Ward H. Reubush, Jr., passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at her home. She was born March 28, 1920, in Patrick County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Gorden Lee Trent and Ella Frances Griggs Trent. Mrs. Reubush attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She worked at Leggett Department Store and was a member of the local garden club. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Staunton where she taught in the Preschool program. Family members include a son, Gordon Lee Reubush; four grandchildren, Stacey, Brian, Chad, and Trevor; and eight great grandchildren. A brother, Charles F. Trent and numerous Reubush and Trent nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward H. Reubush, Jr., and a son, Ward "W.H." Reubush, III. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, in St. Paul's Cemetery, Weyers Cave, by the Rev. John Peterson.
