Ruth Genevieve Showalter

RUTH C. SHOWALTER STAUNTON, VA… Ruth Genevieve (Campbell) Showalter, 85, widow of Clarence Showalter, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in King’s Daughters’ Health and Rehab Center. She was born February 23, 1931, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Hattie (Hite) Campbell. She was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church. Family members include six nieces and a nephew. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A private graveside service was held at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
