Regina Hiawatha (Taylor) Brooks Lotts, 95, widow of Charles Edward Brooks and Robert Edward Lotts of Staunton, died January 15, 2021 at Augusta Health.

She was born on September 14, 1925, in Pisgah, Virginia, to the late Roy Taylor and Sadie (Sheets) Taylor Fulwider. She was a step-daughter of William Fulwider.

Mrs. Lotts retired from the Dejarnette Center as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Staunton Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was a Bible school and Sabbath school teacher. She was also a Sunday school and Bible school teacher at Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren. Regina loved gardening, flowers, listening to gospel music and watching TV. She also loved to read her Bible and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.

Family members include a daughter, Shirley Regina Brooks Buchanan and husband, David Henry of Staunton; three grandchildren, Brian David Buchanan and wife, Virginia of McKinley; Lisa Maria Buchanan Cook and husband, Brian of Staunton and Kevin Christopher Buchanan of Nashville, TN; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Maria Cook and Brayden Scott Cook; and many cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Birch Gardens for all of their care.

A private graveside service will be held.
