STAUNTON, VA… Richard W. Miller, Sr., 73, widower of Dorothy S. Miller of Staunton, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Augusta Health. He was born on September 11, 1942, the son of the late Richard P. Miller and Mary I. (King) Miller. Mr. Miller was owner/operator of Miller’s Small Engine Repair and assisted in maintaining Bellevue Farm of Swoope, VA. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Swoope. He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy I. Wolfe of Northern VA; three grandchildren, Courtney P. Miller, Daniel W. Miller and fiancé, Marleigh E. Fauber, and Meagan L. Miller; one great grandchild, Ellis A. Miller; a brother, Dennis R. Miller and his wife, Donna of Augusta Springs; a sister, Patricia A. Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by two sons, David L. Miller and Richard W. Miller, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Harold Wade. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Henry Funeral Home. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
